Our History
Chef Tom Tamir, a proud Fuji alum, has been serving the Bay Area with his craft for over 20 years.
His sushi journey began at just 17, in a cozy Japanese kitchen right here in West Portal, San Francisco. In the early 2000s, he cherished serving the close-knit community that quickly became like family.
Now, returning to the neighborhood is truly a dream come true.
He left as a cub… and came back as a Lion—ready to share his passion, skill, and love for sushi with the community that started it all.
